The Beverage Information & Insight Group’s Marybeth Came presented at the Martignetti Women’s Beverage Alcohol Symposium in Newton, MA earlier this month. More than 250 industry professionals gathered to share ideas and network. The event included breakout sessions, seminars and a trade show.
Came’s presentation during lunch covered trends in the beverage alcohol industry, including the changing habits of today’s consumer, how people decide what to drink by occasion and the rise of premium and super-premium beverages.
Other presentations during the day-long event included “Presenting your Best,” a business etiquette seminar covering professional communication and recognizing international custom norms, and “Life in Balance,” a session on work-life balance covering topics as diverse as exercise, meditation and neuroscience.
“The beverage alcohol trends presentation was well-received by those in attendance,” Came says. “I also attended a number of the breakout sessions, which were very informative.”
Sales and Marketing Manager Andrew Sims also attended the event, staffing the Beverage Information & Insights Group trade booth and sharing information about beverage data and handbooks with the attendees.
